A self, build dwelling for private clients, this four, bedroom dwelling featured on BBC’s ‘One Show’. 

In order to make maximum use of the available views the building includes three glazed gable windows and the kitchen, dining room and lounge areas are located at first floor level. Whilst the bedrooms are at ground floor level. 

A centrally located feature stair links the two floors and allows seating, backing on to a storey and a half height window, at the half landing. In order to accommodate the clear open space at first floor level with its open sloping ceilings, the dwelling is supported by a steel frame and enclosed within insulated masonry walls. 

The windows are grey polyester powder coated aluminium double, glazed units and the walls and white and grey painted render. The building is located within the centre of a linear plot which includes a parking and turning head at the front and private amenity space to the rear.
